My name is Sonja and I’m a certified German Photographer based in Finland. Since 2014 I work as a freelance photographer for people, business and wedding.
I am currently studying for a Master’s degree in Intercultural Encounters and work full-time as a young professional in the automotive sector. Therefore, I sadly have not enough time for my passion photography.
Nevertheless, I can still be booked for interesting projects and urgent requests and wishes. I mainly photograph in the Uusimaa region, Finland, as well as in the Rhine-Main area in Germany.
Background
I did my training in a portrait studio in Wiesbaden, Germany, where I encountered people from a wide variety of cultures and personalities through the daily shop business. I completed the theoretical part, as well as various further training courses, at the Gutenbergschule in Frankfurt. Both parts have had a great impact on me personally and on my photographic career.
Besides photography, I enjoy travelling, learning new languages and experiencing foreign cultures. Needless to say, my camera is always with me and I try to capture the small moments that make immersion in new worlds so special and save them on film. I take photos with both my digital and analogue equipment.
